This prestigious scholarship, initiated by the Malaysian Government, aims to attract outstanding talents worldwide to pursue postgraduate studies in Malaysia. Scholarship Benefits
- Tuition Fees: Fully covered for the entire sponsorship period, paid directly to the university.
- Monthly Allowance: RM 1,500.00 per month, provided each semester upon submission of the scholar’s progress report to MOHE.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Maximum of 40 years for master’s applicants and 45 years for PhD applicants at the time of application.
- Academic Qualifications:
- Master’s applicants: Minimum CGPA of 3.00/2nd Class Upper (Honours) at the bachelor’s level.
- PhD applicants: Minimum CGPA of 3.00 or excellent results at the master’s level in a related field.
- English Proficiency:
- IELTS band 6.0 or higher.
- TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) score of 550 or higher.
- Previous degree(s) with English as the medium of instruction.
- Research Proposal: For Master’s by Research and PhD applicants, a written research proposal (minimum 1,000 words) relevant to the intended field of study.

- Outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements.
- The quality and potential impact of the research proposal.
- Proficiency in English communication, writing, and reading skills.

Applicants must fill out the Application Form and upload the following documents in PDF format to the online application system:
- Certified copy of passport (minimum validity of 6 months).
- Certified copies of academic transcripts (undergraduate and master’s, if applicable).
- Certified copy of English proficiency test results (IELTS/TOEFL) or an official letter stating English as the medium of instruction.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Admission letter from a Malaysian university (if already admitted).
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Research Proposal (for Master’s by Research and PhD applicants).
